Mum has put up some more photos of Mel's wedding. Here's the link

My sister was married on Sunday. It was a perfect day, everything went off without a hitch. The ceremony was in a church in the CBD, a lovely old building. The reception was down by a yatch club on the river with views back to the city. I was a groomsman, and had a great time. Everyone laughed at my jokes during the reception as I read out the emails and telegrams. I will hopefully have some photos up here soon (as soon as people send me some, as I was too busy to take any myself).
I think my next computer is going to be a Tablet PC. These things are really cool. They allow you to use your computer like a regular piece of paper. The good thing about them is that you can completely hide the keyboard and hold the machine in portrait mode, using just a pen to do your work. They are also really comfortable to use while sitting on a couch in front of the TV.
I got a taste of my own medicine this week. I haven't heard a thing from my sister in over a week, not a peep on my birthday. I don't know if she is preoccupied by her impending wedding, or whether she is doing it on purpose. I have a recent history of not getting family members anything for their birthday, but I'm pretty sure that I have at least given them a phone call. Personally I am making it up to people this year. I'm making sure that I am getting good presents well in advance. So if you haven't got any good presents from me recently, this could be your year.
24 Today! Nothing big planned for the day, just a quiet night at home with Stacey.
Yesterday a GWN camera man came out to our store to film some stuff for a commercial. He took one of those group shots that you usually see at the end of the ad, and then did a bit of my boss showing someone (his son) a fridge. I guess this will be my 15 minutes (2 seconds) of fame. The ad will be shown all over WA. Tomorrow is my birthday, but I already have my major present from Stacey. She bought me an XBox, a special edition Crystal console. In a couple of weeks I am going to get a mod-chip put in it so we can use it as a media centre. I have already set up the wireless network in the lounge room so I can stream all our TV episodes from the main computer in the study.
