Time to start looking for a job

I got an answer to my application for that graduate position today and it wasn't good.

Thank you for expressing interest in a graduate position with Company and for taking the time to participate in a telephone interview, psychometric testing and a face to face interview.

We have taken into consideration the results of the telephone interview, psychometric testing and face to face interview and have compared your skills, background and experiences against the requirements of the positions we have available.

As you can appreciate, the overall calibre of the graduate candidates that attended the face to face interview were very high. Unfortunately on this occasion, we regret to advise you that we will not be progressing your application further with us.

We really do appreciate the time you have taken and we thank you for considering Company as a prospective employer.

So now it is time to start looking for a real job in Perth. I will probably start looking towards the end of October. If I get offered a job they will probably want me to start straight away, so I'll start looking at what type of jobs are coming up now and get into it seriously later.
