Easter Weekend

Well I had a whole post about how this weekend went, but when I went to publish it was lost. Stacey's parents and sister have been down, and we went down to Albany today stopping off at a couple of wineries on the way home. Chinese for dinner tonight and then they are off back to Perth tomorrow.

Easter Weekend

Well Stacey's parents have been down for a couple of nights now. They haven't done too much damage, just the microwave which probably needs to be replaced. It's an old microwave that they gave us in the first place. Today we went down to Albany. We drove around and saw the sights and had lunch at a cafe. On the way back we stopped at a couple of wineries and bought a couple of bottles after trying quite a few. They leave tomorrow morning and life will go back to normal.

Changes at work

Things at work are about to change. We are moving the main POS desk to be more central, and I am setting up a whole computer and IT section in the front corner of the store. We will have things like Windows Media Center hooked up with a Plasma screen. There will be a wireless network set up in store to demonstrate to the customers how it works and what it means. Hopefully we will also set up the Playstation2 and XBox consoles for people to play with. We are also going to consolidate all the digital cameras with the IT section, with one or two hooked up to the computer for demo purposes. The great thing about all this is that I have a large part in what we will be doing. I am the resident tech guy in store as everyone else isn't really into computers. Hopefully I will be able to get some before and after pictures up here.

I think I might just keep this site to myself for a couple of weeks. If you have found this by yourself, please let me know via email or comments here. I'm looking forward to the weekend as I have Saturday off. We are thinking about going to Albany and having a wonder around, maybe see a movie. The weekend after that is Easter, and Stacey's parents and sister are coming down for a visit. We will more than likely go for a drive then and show them around the area.

My New Home

For a while at least. I have tried hosting my own site, having someone host it for money, I also tried MSN Spaces but didn't really dig it. So now I am trying blogger. It says that I can add photos simply using Picasa2, which is good because I like that program. Anyway, more updates will be added as I go along.
